From This Moment...

 November 11, 2011-
And then there were Five!!!!  I am no longer the oldest of Four but the oldest of Five,
Janessa Danae Yu Yan Bywater
is officially my baby sister!
      I was so thankful to be able to join my family in Zhengzhou on the 11th and spend a couple days with them before they traveled on to Guangzhou.

I do swear that I'll always be there.
I'd give anything and everything and I will always care.
Through weakness and strength, happiness and sorrow,
for better for worse, I will love you with
every beat of my heart.
From this moment I have been blessed
I live only for your happiness
And for your love I'd give my last breath
From this moment on
From this moment as long as I live
I will love you, I promise you this
There is nothing I wouldn't give
From this moment
I will love you as long as I live
From this moment on

"In the same way God, desiring even more to show to the heirs of the promise the unchangeableness of His purpose, interposed with an oath, so that by two unchangeable things which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to take hold of a hope set before us.  This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil."
Hebrews 6: 17-19

Surgery Smiles

November 5-13th
The MKI team was here at the Big House, lots of little ones had reason to smile when they left...lots of surgeries were done and little ones were given New Hope!

"He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds.
He counts the number of the stars;
He gives names to all of them."
Psalm 147: 3-4

Something Special To Share- A New Baby Sister!!!!

I shall give thanks to You, for You have answered me,
And You have become my salvation.
This is the LORD’S doing;
It is marvelous in our eyes.
This is the day which the LORD has made;
Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 118:21, 23-24

Our hearts are filled with joy and wonder as we see the hand of God moving in our lives and providing for little Janessa a forever family---OURS!!!  After a long period of appeals and requests for exceptions to be made on her behalf the Chinese government has agreed to allow our family to adopt Janessa.  We depart for China on Monday, November 7th to make the journey to finalize her adoption.   We are thrilled that this precious little girl will officially be Janessa Danae YuYan Bywater just in time for her third birthday on November 25th.  In keeping with Janessa's new name God has truly been gracious and merciful and He has judged it right to give her a new birth into a new family.  We stand in awe of His marvelous workings.  We look forward to sharing more of our journey with you all later...just wanted to touch bases and thank you for your continued prayers.
Rejoicing,
Melissa (for all the Bywaters)
