"God Bless America"

 
Happy 4th of July!  At home the photo above is more along the lines of what July 4th looks like.  On the night of the 3rd the moon was full, the sky was amazingly clear- in fact you could even see the mountains in the distance.  We were beginning to feel some festive moments - even our dinner spot seemed to be in the Red, White, and Blue mood with it's shark tank and decor.  
 

Proof the Boys did Dental Dishes

  Our Fourth dawned cloudy and rainy wet with our days agenda feeling more and more like Cinderella's.  Everyone was working on so many tasks, the dental team was on target to see as many ayis and staff as possible- they were incredible as they cheerfully served this past week sharing their gifts and abilities with the women who give so much of themselves for the little ones they care for, they saw over 160 patients in 4 days!!!

So with lots of rain and lots of work and lots to celebrate last night we had a Joyful 4th of July gathering.  There was watermelon, Pasta Salad, Red White and Blue Jello, Apple Crumble and Pizza with lots of laughter all around.  And then it was time for Goodbyes and departures-

     Here it is really the 5th however this morning after another 4:30am airport run Becca, Abby, and I stopped into Starbucks for some much needed caffeine we were preparing to leave when one of the young men came and offered us each a Via instant coffee packet and said, "Today is America's Birthday, we are very glad, in America they are giving away coffee here we are giving you a packet to go, Thank you for being American's, GOD BLESS AMERICA!"  With that he excitedly returned to his coffee brewing behind the counter and we girls smiled waved back, said "Yes, God Bless America!"  I even think we may have been singing it as we swung the doors open to leave.
