Birthday Party

Happy 1st Birthday Samuel!

My friends Catrina and Shaw invited me to join them for their son Samuel's First Birthday celebration dinner.  What a fun time we had...Little Samuel was the only child there and so received a good deal of love and attention.  

 As his birthday falls in the year of the the Tiger a very large creamy laohu graced the top of his cake...and he of course was very pleased that he was given the head to eat all by himself!

I just have to put a side note in for all you moms- you have to check out the tray on this high chair...it is wicker, not much help at all in the feeding and food containment end of things!  Why does it not surprise me, it just must go right along with split pants.
